✨Beauty in the Chaos✨

Something my 1st photography mentor always taught - “Find beauty in the chaos” and that is exactly what I’m doing with this post 😅🫶🏻 we are in the middle of signing papers, packing boxes, homeschooling, and confirming appointments for our move and I needed to share and be reminded of beautiful, slow moments like this.

Story time 📖:
I last minute decided to go to the Philippines in October 2025 after my grandpa ended up in the hospital about 1 month prior. I hadn’t been there in 10 years and I wanted to be able to get at least one more memory with him and my family there. I’m so happy I went. Sure there were tons of earthquakes and tsunamis happening and it was a little nerve racking going because of them, but God truly blessed our time there. I got to take these gorgeous photos of my cousin, spend quality time holding my Papas hand, witness and capture my cousin getting engaged, and give my Papa one last big hug and kiss before he ended up passing a few days after we arrived back in the States. God was so good to me and our family to bless us with such beautiful memories ✨🏝️

I can’t wait to hug my family again & see this sweet girl again ❤️ our family lives all over the world from England, New Zealand, Australia, & the states, but I’m thankful we feel as close as we do despite the distance between us ❤️

✨My Top 9 Favorite Images of 2025✨

1. I started the year off with a bang getting to capture a Winter wedding with and it was such a beautiful, simple wedding day… and they just welcomed their first baby into their family recently! How beautiful to watch these couples make their team!

2. Part 2 of Senior photos were so fun! I had to share her contagious smile! 🤩

3. I love this shot with and and their kiddos flying a kite! Showing off their family, their connection and the gorgeous Boise Foothills 🙌🏽

4. Getting to capture & wedding day was a dream come true! Their day was filled with fun, authentic connection, and so much love. Getting to shoot at was also SO fun!

5. Ya’ll any year I capture and her family, I have to snag this shot of her beautiful girls. Their blue and green eyes and freckles MELT ME!!! 🥹🥰

6. I was so excited to capture and her family! They just moved here from out of state and felt so honored to capture their first family photos in Idaho. Of course we had to head to the foothills, and the moon was showing OFF! 🌙

7. and definitely dominated my feed this year and I’m NOT complaining about it. Their connection is beautiful! This was the end of their engagement session where they went full on into the water. So. Much. Fun. 💦

8. My cousin & his beautiful wife & their sweet girl Gianna 🥰 we got to take these while staying in the Philippines I just finished their gallery last night so I can’t wait to share more 🤩

9. Last but not least was the most beautiful, epic, elopement Zoey and Caden asked me to help capture. The views were incredible and I struggled to not share those type of images here but I’m telling you… their connection is unmatched so sharing an image that shows that off felt more fitting 🥰

That’s a wrap!! Thank you to all of my incredible clients for such a great year! I wasn’t able to take on as many sessions this year since we moved away ½ the year, but what sessions I did take on were so beautiful and intentional 💕

✨When Caden & Zoey called me 6 days before deciding to elope instead of doing a big wedding next Summer I was SO stoked for them 🩵

Ain’t no way I wasn’t going to try to move heaven and earth to be there to capture their special day.

They pulled it off, God held off the rain until we got back to the cabin from taking photos to pour it down, and most importantly their day was intimate and exactly what they wanted ✨🩵

I am truly honored beyond words to have photographed so many important moments in Zoey’s life.. from graduation photos from high school, family photos every year, college graduation, engagement, and now her wedding day… wow, I’m so blessed and can’t wait to see what adventures await these two!

✨A few years ago I woke up to an insanely foggy morning and didn’t want to miss the opportunity to photograph it. We lived 5 minutes from the foothills so I pilled my boys in the car and drove up to capture them in the fog 🌫️

I could have just let it go, done my usual morning routine, and gone about my day, but instead I ceased the moment.

Let us not get so caught up in the checklists and routines that we don’t take moments to see God’s beautiful creation, make a special memory, and love on those around us. Any ordinary day can be changed into one you’ll never forget with this simple shift in our mindset. ✨

Looking forward to 1 more holiday family-filled month with my parents in the Magic Valley✨ before moving back to the Treasure Valley 💎
