Ever curious as to why elopement and micro-wedding photographers encourage their couples to add in an activity and multiple photo locations into their day?

You'll likely never have this exact experience again.

While you can always revisit the park, you won't recreate the combination of your wedding attire, loved ones, emotions, and the specific conditions of that day. Prioritizing both activities and photography helps preserve not only what the Tetons looked like, but what it felt like to get married there.

Many couples choose to get married in the Tetons because they value experience over tradition. Photos of laughing on a trail, watching wildlife from a distance, sharing a quiet moment by the water, or celebrating with a small group often become more treasured than posed images. Now don't get us wrong, there is always a time and place for posed and prompted images, but it's always important to leave space for moments to unfold naturally on your day.... meaning allowing time to breathe in your timeline.

Rowan and Ryan's private vows in B&W

After their sweet and intimate ceremony with their families at Taggart Lake, these two stuck behind and decided to share their vows at one of the most unique spots on the trail surrounded by trees. So many giggles, laughs, and tears with these two, and the rain even held off until the very end of the hike (and yes, we got drenched but it was so worth it! You can find more from their day on our blog now!

This could be your ceremony spot. Not a soul around, just the two of you, the water and the mountains.

How you might ask?

Through a dispersed ceremony permit through Grand Teton National Park.

If it will just be the two of you, or even a tew guests, you can have your ceremony in some of the most gorgeous locations within the national park that are slightly more off the beaten path, offering stunning views like this.

We help all of our couples find the pertect ceremony location like this one, as well as help them through the entire planning process, making the entire process seamless, stress-free, and fun!

There is something so perfect about a summer sunset. The northern part of the park gets really incredible golden hours, and when we happen to end up on that side of the park as the sun is getting ready to go down, it always makes us so excited. We loved when Ashley and Drew shared their first dance together as the sun began to go down over the mountains, not a soul was around, and everything about this moment was perfect!!
