Thinking about eloping at the Idaho State Capitol?

Here’s why it’s one of my favorite locations for intimate weddings 🤍

• Beautiful architecture + elegant marble details
• Gorgeous natural light inside the building
• A perfect option year-round (especially during winter or unpredictable weather)
• Multiple portrait locations all within walking distance
• Ideal for smaller ceremonies and couples wanting a more relaxed wedding day

A few helpful things to know:
✨ Weekdays are usually much less crowded
✨ You can’t reserve a spot in the building since the whole building is public use
✨ Mornings have the best light and fewer people
✨ The Capitol does not require a reservation/permit for ceremonies, just bring your own officiant for the wedding ceremony

Why I love elopements at the Capitol:
One of my favorite things about Capitol elopements is how intentional they feel. Less pressure, less rushing, and more time to actually soak in the day together.

If you’re planning an Idaho elopement and want a day that feels meaningful, relaxed, and beautiful, this location is seriously worth considering 🤍
