Photo challenge this week is something you normally don't take pictures of. This one had me puzzled for a bit, since my photography style ranges through many subjects.

I've probably driven up and down this road a million times, in my lifetime. Tons of car conversations, heartbreak,adventures, laughs, good music, drives home, walks back to my car after shows, good and bad dates, or even to find something to eat, or a coffee or a drink.
I've never felt like I have fit in, my whole life, unless I have my camera in hand. I've feel like myself, safe, creative, happy, confident. It's a hard battle to fight living with anxiety and depression. It's a emotional whiplash at times and hard to come out of it. Until I pick up my camera. Then it seems to disappear, like magic.

The New Orleans battlefield site was such an amazing place to see and walk around. It was rainy and windy, so we pretty much had the grounds to ourselves. The history lover in both Walter and I loved it. An actual battlefield of history in our country. It was amazing to see in person.

I recently lost a friendship that I've had since I've been 13. It hurts, since it was about picking my family, my peace of mind, people who are genuine and true.I kept reaching out to this person over the last year. Nothing in return. Losing my Daddy was used against me, not putting them in my wedding, and my job, my family. In our last conversation. The reasons cut deep from this person. Who has seen the best and the hardest days of my own life. Gaslighting people, and tearing down someone isn't how you treat lifelong friends.Thankfully I have many reminds of how beautiful life can be when you choose certain things. Like my succulents in my front yard. Give me beautiful peace of mind
