Kaitlin, James, and their epic wedding vendor crew really brought together one of the coolest October weddings I’ve ever seen. Every single detail was so spot on. My jaw was just on the floor all damn day.

When Ella and Greg said they wanted their engagement session location to be in DC, I admittedly automatically asked… ok so what monuments and iconic buildings do you want to cover in your photos? But in actuality, they wanted their DC engagement session to feel absolutely nothing like the typical DC session you would think of.

This moment really grounded me. As photographers, it is so incredibly easy to fall into the trap of being stagnant. We have our own preconceived ideas of what certain sessions SHOULD look like, but not what they CAN look like. Not every couple is the same. So why would we treat their sessions just like the others?

Walking this trail with Ella and Greg was a major breath of fresh air. I CANNOT wait for their Philadelphia wedding next year. 🥰

Not gonna lie, I was waiting all year for this wedding and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Every. Single. Detail. Was absolutely thought through and executed to the max for Raidizon and Brady’s wedding day. They are a dream. Their people are a dream. Their wedding is a dream!

Ive been hybrid photographing as many sessions as possible lately in both digital and film photography and it’s been so nice to slow down the process with more intentional artistry. And cmon, the fall light is basically BEGGING for a good film moment.

Crossing yet another pop icon off my bucket list of list must-see live-performances!

When I heard my bride broke her foot weeks before her wedding day I was completely ready to be all hands on deck helping her make the best of it on her wedding day. But actually, she was so completely leaning into the laugh of it all and making the absolute best of it, including having me photograph her ONE shoe she brought haha 😆

You can find the beauty in your love absolutely anywhere, especially your adorable little small town.

When Savannah and Jake shared their simple ideas for their engagement session, I was immediately sold. These two grew up together in a little small town as kids, reconnected years later, and began their love story. They literally showed be a photo of them at a dance together in grade school hanging on their fridge. So adorable ammi right?

So we obviously hit the small town to photograph all the iconic spots. I must say, this was one of my favorite engagement sessions I have photographed this year because of all the meaningful history for these two. 🥹
