What an incredible day Emily & Ken had at The Mansion at Glen Cove | Luxury Events and Weddings. From start to finish, their wedding felt like a dream. We explored every inch of the mansion’s grounds, which were absolutely glowing in the September light. The kind of day you wish you could bottle up and relive all over again. Just an absolutely perfect day at Old Westbury Gardens with Kelly & John. We had just under two hours to make some magic, and this place certainly didn’t disappoint. From start to finish, it was one of those days that just felt effortless.

The “burying the sausage” and paying Etsy witches for good weather on a wedding day seems to be working pretty well these last few years. A little throwback to my first couple to do this, Nicolette & James, who’s rainy day forecast turned into one of the prettiest days of the year.

Absolutely love photographing my couples’ details as soon as I arrive on the wedding day. Marissa’s black-and-white details were so beautiful, but I couldn’t find a great pocket of harsh light inside the house. So I took everything outside and used the backyard table instead. Honestly, the light was hitting just right, and it made for the perfect backdrop for these photos. Stationary and flower holders are by Washington Elopement Photographer | Jamie Tobin
