She thought they were simply taking some photos together by the lake.

In an instant, what started as a family session became the beginning of their next chapter. And one of the most touching moments came afterward when Alex had a gift for little Eleanor too, reminding them that this wasn’t just about a proposal—it was about the three of them becoming a family.

Getting to document moments like this session we had last night is one of the greatest privileges of my job. These are life’s biggest moments, real and impossible to recreate. I’m so grateful I was there to preserve these memories

The best family photos aren’t about perfect poses—they’re about giving your little ones room to play and be themselves 🌾

Nothing makes me happier than photographing one of my past wedding couples, meeting their kiddos and seeing them doing so well. This recent session with my dear past wedding clients K+C was just that and was so fun!

We spent the evening at their family property, picking wildflowers, chasing curious toddlers, soaking up cuddles, and capturing all the little moments that make this season of life with little ones so beautiful.

These are the memories you’ll want to look back on years from now.

There are endless ways to make your wedding day your own and S+J did just that. Wanting a memorable but intimate occasion, they rented an Airbnb in the Texas Hill Country big enough for all their wedding guests to stay leading up to the wedding day. Days of hill country excursions, fun in the pool and scenic places to gather around the property gave them the opportunity to settle in, get more acquainted, and make lasting memories before wedding day.

Their ceremony was full of meaningful and intentional moments like the couple being surrounded and prayed for by their closest family and friends. And they celebrated afterwards with an delicious dinner by a private chef.

Meaningful. Intimate. Intentional. Perfectly them. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Pressley! It was honor to capture your special day ✨
