I have always had a passion for photography, I think there is something absolutely magical about being able to capture a moment in time that can then be shared for generations. Also being a mother of three I know how much I treasure the photos of the random precious moments as well as the major milestones.

“Life grows in circles, not rows”.
We aren’t meant to do it alone, I’m so thankful for our small group. We’ve grown together and have walked through many seasons encouraging, supporting, loving and praying for one another.

(*We were missing a few amazing faces at this meet up but life happens.)

This was the last meeting we enjoyed with our Seniors as they closed the High School Chapter. It was so memorable ... many tears were had. 😭

ChampionChargerVolleyball is back!

I had a blast getting these shots, the girls hyped each other up during the session and were so much fun to photograph. Their team is solid, nothing but good energy all around.
I can’t wait to see them win it all this year! 🔥

I lived in New York when I was younger.

We visited the city occasionally. I remember looking down from the observation deck in the original World Trade Centers. The cars looked like ants and the people were almost nonexistent from that height.

Flash forward to Sept 11, 2001.
I was sleeping getting ready to go in for my college class. I was awakened by a phone call, it was my Aunt. She was frantically asking, “Where is your dad?!” I lived in Texas at the time, but my father worked at the Pentagon (which was also hit). Thankfully, he wasn’t at work.

She told me to turn on the news. I sat in my room as a 19 year old glued to the TV in disbelief. I remembered watching the second plane hit the South Tower, firefighters running towards the danger, the sound of jumpers meeting their fate, then both towers collapsing as news coverage streamed live. Americans ran for their lives as alarms chimed, papers fell from the sky, debris & toxic soot roared through the streets like a tidal wave.

Phone lines quickly became jammed across the country as we watched the NY skyline forever changed. From that moment forward we as Americans lived in a Post 9/11 America. Heartbroken but not destroyed. Americans were unified from coast to coast. 🇺🇸♥️🤍💙

It was the first time since Pearl Harbor we were attacked on American soil to that extent but it didn’t just happen to Americans. It happened all over the world, and with every attack, the same saying seemed to be attached, “Allah Akbar”.

They’ll cry “Islamophobia” but don’t buy that nonsense. Thats a just a made up term strategically created to play to the hearts of empaths while victim shaming those who have a realistic fear of a very real enemy walking amongst us. It’s not a phobia it’s self preservation. Never Forget.

*The last two slides are clips from Nate Friedman he’s been doing incredible journalism covering what happening in America.
He has a YouTube channel (The Nate Friedman Show) where you can view all his latest projects.
