All weddings are special, but this one felt extra special. This is Emily and Brent and it was obvious how much they were madly in love with each other. It felt good for this one to be my last.
Yes, most likely my last wedding. I have moved, and midwest weddings are difficult. If you're wanting to get married anywhere in Florida, we can talk about optioins.

Do you know this family??!!
Did they stay at your airbnb or is one of them local?

So something happened the other day. We were at Gasparilla State park/beach on Gasparilla Island Florida, at the lighthouse. Near Boca Grande. I was shooting someone else, and this family was there waiting for their photographer. As I was leaving, they stopped me and asked if I could shoot them quickly as their photographer no showed on them!! They had come all over the country for this vacation, and there was no one there to take these photos.

I had an appointment in a few minutes but I told them that I'd happily give them 5 min. I was a wedding photographer and I'd had harder assignments than this!

(For the record, I did 3 set ups in that 5 minutes. LOL.)

So running out the "door" my husband gave them his card for his business as I didn't have one on me. (all my stuff had gone to the car already, and I only had a camera and one lens). He told them to call him and he'd get them in touch with me. They gave me some cash (kind, but wasn't the motive at that moment) and I left. I told them my name, but didn't get theirs.

I've not heard from them, (this was about 4 days ago) and I'm starting to worry they lost the card!

If you know them, please tag them!

PS.. if you were the photographer that bailed, shame on you.

UPDATE:
Fire, the wheel, sliced bread, and the internet. Some of the greatest inventions in the history of man (internet most of the time). Thank you so much for all the help!! The family has been located and we've made contact! Pics delivered soon!

I've known Abi's extended family since I was literally 6 years old. All wonderful people, a wedding feels more like a reunion. 💙
So many weddings, senior portraits, engagement sessions!

These 2, well, made perfectly for each other. 🐄🐄 ;)
