As a Penn State alumni and a State College native, Bob has a deep connection to the area, which inspires the personal touch that defines his photos. Channeling his passion for his hometown, he has developed a vast collection of classic photos that include the historic Penn State elms in

all their glory. These one-of-a-kind elm photos provide a snapshot of an iconic landscape that resonates across generations of Penn State graduates. His connection to Central Pennsylvania helps him capture what's truly unique about State College and its most recognized landmarks. Bob's work has been featured at the nationally-renowned Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, as well as in local and national publications. His commissioned photos are displayed in many local businesses, galleries and homes all over the world. This collection includes eight images that were taken between 1986 and 1988, which celebrate the beauty of the great American elm trees that once graced the campus landscape. Sadly disease and time have altered this view today, though these photos preserve the memory of that beloved time in Penn State's history. Bob works regularly with the Penn State Alumni Association to provide historical elm tree photographs to support their important Elms Collection initiative.
