South Carolina weddings are not for the weak. 😂

This day started with sunshine, blue skies, and temperatures hot enough to melt your makeup.

By the end of the night? We were practically dancing in a monsoon.
But honestly, that's one of my favorite things about photographing weddings in South Carolina. You can check the forecast, refresh the radar, and make all the backup plans in the world... and Mother Nature will still do her own thing.

The best part? Not a single person let the rain stop the celebration.
Because years from now, nobody is going to remember exactly what the weather did.
They'll remember the laughter, the dancing, and the memories they made with the people they love most. 🤍

And maybe they'll remember that random monsoon, too. ⛈️😂

🏔️ Out of Office 🏔️

After a busy season, it's finally time for a little family vacation!

I'll be out of the office June 22–27, trading my computer screen for family time, adventures, and making memories with the people I love most.

I'll be away from my computer and fully unplugged during that time, returning all messages and emails once I'm back in the office.

I can't wait to share the memories with you when we get back! ❤️

Sometimes the best family photos come from simply embracing the moment and rolling with whatever the kids decide to give us. Between a few hard-earned smiles, some genuine laughs, and lots of personality, we captured some beautiful memories together.

One of my favorite things about family photography is preserving these seasons exactly as they are. Years from now, these photos will be a reminder of this chapter of life—the big personalities, the little moments, and everything in between.

One year ago today, we ran away together to Ireland and promised forever along the northern coast 🤍

What started 8 years ago somehow turned into this beautiful, chaotic, wonderful life we’ve built together...4 beautiful children, countless memories, and a love story that looks so much different than I ever imagined… but somehow even better.

This past year of marriage hasn’t just been about the big moments. It’s been about building a life together, growing together, choosing each other through every season, and creating something bigger than either of us could have imagined.

8 years together. 1 year married. 4 amazing kids who brought us together and made us who we are.

What started as two people somehow became this beautiful life we now call ours.

And after all this time, you’re still my favorite adventure.

Yami + Anton’s wedding day was filled with so many beautiful moments from beginning to end 🤍

The kind of day that felt effortless, joyful, and full of so much love in every room. From the quiet in-between moments to the energy on the dance floor, every part of the day reflected who they are together so naturally.

There was so much intention behind every detail, but what stood out most was the way everyone showed up for these two with so much love and excitement. You could truly feel how special this season of life is for them.

Being able to witness and capture the way Yami + Anton love each other was such an honor, and a celebration we won’t be forgetting anytime soon ✨

What started as a rainy bridal session turned into some of my favorite moments from the day. We ducked into the chapel for a little while to wait out the rain, and somehow ended up creating the most beautiful, quiet images in the process.

There’s something so special about the unexpected moments—the soft light coming through the chapel windows, the quiet atmosphere, and the way the rain brought such a calm, intimate feeling to her session. It all came together so beautifully ✨

I’ve been holding onto these bridals for the past two months, and keeping them to myself has been very hard so I’m beyond excited to finally share them!

We had the most beautiful sunny Saturday celebrating these two. The entire day felt relaxed, joyful, and so genuinely them—filled with laughter, sweet in-between moments, and the kind of easy happiness that made every part of the day feel special.

From the warm sunshine to being surrounded by the people who love them most, it was such a beautiful day from beginning to end, and I’m so grateful I got to capture it all.
