“The perfect photo means nothing if I miss the heart and soul of a family.”

I’ve been repeating this to myself. Over and over and over. Letting it be the passion and motivation behind everything I create.

And if I’m being honest? It’s changed things for me. Instead of striving for the “perfect” photo or keeping up with the “trends”…my focus is on YOU. The family. The connection and the unique and beautiful bond between.

It’s caused me to slow down and wait. To not force connection but to let it unfold in front of me in the most honest way. And honestly, my work has never been more meaningful. I’m not chasing some standard I, or even social media has set for me. I’m chasing you—your story, and the pieces of your life that deserve to be remembered.
