Third time photographing the Michel family, which always makes a session extra fun!

This time, they were up bright and early for sunrise, and I promise the early alarm is worth it when we get mornings like this.

And good news for my non-morning people... sunrise is getting a little later this time of year, so those early sessions are getting a little easier. 😉

There’s just something special about capturing those first few weeks at home with your newest little family member. No rushing, no packing up the baby, just documenting this season where it actually happens.

Back at Palmetto Bluff with this group again and honestly, these are some of my favorite sessions to photograph.

There’s something really fun about documenting families (and my friends!) who make the same trip year after year. The kids grow up, the friendships get stronger, and every session tells a slightly different story than the last.

It’s a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and always worth documenting.
