Welcome back to my series - Tip Tuesday! Where I come at you every Tuesday with some helpful tips to make the most out of your time with your photographer at your next photo session.
Today we're going to talk about patterns to avoid!
I mention this in my prep emails to clients, but I totally get that some people don't have the time or energy to read those.
There are some prints that should be avoided like the plague for your photos.
You want to make sure that your pattern has enough breathing room so my camera can read the data. If you wear a print that is too busy with closely intersecting lines, it will create something called a moire effect and looks so wonky in pictures.
And the bad news is, there's nothing I can do to fix it.
You know those trending shirts now that have an unsuspecting pattern in disguise, like you get up close to it and realize it's actually martini glasses but from far away it just looks like stripes? I'm talking about those too.
When in doubt, just go solid.
Did you like this series?! Should I keep it going for September? What should I focus on next?
