"An emotional ride of atmospheric proportions, "The Path Before Us" is a stark realization of what being alone or in one's own head too long can do to a person. As passion fades and our day to day lives get in the way of the things that bring us joy and meaning, these sometimes overwhelming feelings of solitude can be crushing or it can spark a creative ember. The music created here and in the previous split that was released are manifestations of that ember catching flame and fueling what is to come."

Upcoming Release from In My Absence, coming 11/15/21! The long awaiting Atmospheric Black Metal album "The Path Before Us" is set to release next month, digital download through bandcamp and physical copies will be available here through RBP!

The album is currently up for early review to those who may be interested so send us a message if you own a publication that want to get their hands on it early!

RavensBane is now officially taking on bands to record! I will be capturing the metal produced from Happy Hour Homicide this weekend and will be looking to take on more projects in the near future. Weather you are a solo act, a 3 piece, or a full band consider giving us the opportunity to record your music next! It matters not what genre you fall into either, get in touch with us!

I do not have a traditional studio but rather I have a mobile studio, I can come to you and your band with the same equipment i use in my personal space

Concerning the RBMagazine:

I know things have been in the works for some time now, far longer than anticipated, a one man operation for the most part, aside from a small number of people who contributed reviews, it has been a feat to overcome. With my day job and all my other endeavors, it just seems like there isn't enough time to get things done like I want. With that being the case, what do you think about individual postings of album reviews and feature spotlights moving forward, likely in the form of a blog or something along those lines?
