This past weekend, I traveled to the beautiful Cannan Valley Resort in Davis, WV for ' Wellness Retreat West Virginia! The food was delicious! As always, it was a great learning experience about the food we consume.

I wasn't even going to post photos from this session!

When I first started my photography business, I had in my mind that I was only going to do certain types of sessions. I was truly so nervous to take these newborn photos!

After I finished editing them, I just didn't know what to do. I loved the way they turned out, but that's not the type of sessions I was trying to do at the time. I was strictly trying to take family and senior portraits.

One of my mentors told me to share it "because at this point you don't know what you are going to love" and that is some of the best photography advice I have ever been given. Try it and see how it goes! That advice also works outside of photography!!!

These photos opened up an entirely different opportunity as I started photographing several newborns after this. So, try new things!!! You might enjoy it!
