Mother Nature we had the opportunity to witness a pack of wolves in Lamar Valley in action and learned this is rare and that this pack had actually been out of Yellowstone National Park for a significant period of time! The pack is made up of 13 black and 2 grey wolves referred to as the Junction Pack. In talk to a couple rangers they have witnessed over 50 hunts and this was only the 4th successful hunt. unfortunately this was far away and the 1600 mm spotting scope created better views than my 840 mm with my camera!

Both T.A. Moulton & John Moulton barns in the Grand Tetons: these were built by the brothers when a group of Mormons created a settlement during their journey west! These are some of the most iconic barns in the world!

Elk in Estes amazing watching the bull elk move their herds through the city as well as watching them in various parks, the young feeding from their moms and others laying around! Actually see more in the city verses inside Rocky Mountain National Park!

Grand Tetons didn’t disappoint, fall colors, amazing views of the Teton Range, historic Mormon Row, sun rise at Schwabacher Landing and a bull moose walking through a prairie with the Tetons as a back drop!
