"Unbound in Silence"
In the hush of a forgotten alley, a solitary figure leaps—arms wide, shrouded in shadow—into a shallow puddle. The water erupts beneath them, breaking the stillness with a violent, beautiful splash. It is not just movement; it is expression. The splash becomes a release, a rupture of emotion too long held inside.

This image speaks to the invisible struggles of mental health—the silent battles waged behind closed doors and calm faces. The water, once still and reflective, mirrors the suppressed feelings we carry: grief, anxiety, rage, longing. But in this moment of raw motion, those feelings are unbound.

The splash is not chaos; it is catharsis. A physical exhale. A defiant act of being seen, even if only by the self. The figure, faceless and framed in monochrome, becomes a stand-in for anyone who has felt trapped in their own silence—longing not for noise, but for release.

“Unbound in Silence” is a visual metaphor for the power of expression, the beauty in breaking down, and the resilience found in letting go. Even in darkness, even alone, there is healing in movement—and freedom in the splash.

🩸Vampire Pool Boys Set Madison Live on Fire for the Birthday Bash 🎂
— A Beyond the Stage Magazine Review

This past weekend, Vampire Pool Boys stormed the stage at Madison Live for the Birthday Bash — and turned the night into an all-out emo revival. With eyeliner sharp and riffs sharper, VPB delivered a set dripping in emotion, distortion, and pure throwback power.

From the first note, the crowd was in — hands up, hearts open, and voices loud. Their signature emo-punk sound hit hard, with clear nods to early My Chemical Romance, and the audience felt it all. It wasn’t just a show — it was a scene. Screams, sweat, and full-on singalongs echoed through the venue, proving once again that Cincinnati’s underground is very much alive.

Vampire Pool Boys didn’t just play the stage — they owned it. With their raw energy and theatrical flair, they reminded everyone why the local scene matters and why emo never died — it just went underground.
