Mir Imaging will officially be faceless. What does that mean?
Over the past year, I havenāt been posting as much here due to busyness with every day life. Over the past few months, I have become a lot more private with my personal life, more particularly my childās. With technology advancing, there is a scary side to everything that is good. I have been doing more to protect my own childās privacy when it comes to social media, and I would be a hypocrite to not do the same for clients that book with me.
Now this may be a difficult thing to do because my primary clientele are children. And although I havenāt been posting much over the past year, I would like to begin sharing some of the beautiful work that has been going on behind the scenes and I would like to offer my clients the same respect that I give my own child.
When you are booking your photo session, there will now be a slot for you to disclose whether or not you would like for photos of your child to be posted on social media. This is your personal decision and I will not violate your decision or persuade you to make any other decision, no matter how cute the picture is! As far as adults are concerned, you will have that same respect but my primary focus at this time is on protecting the privacy of our children.
As always, photos taken by Mir Imaging are owned by Mir Imaging whether or not they are paid for by you. This means Mir Imaging always has the right to use photos taken for advertisement purposes as I wish, but I will not be using children photos if requested. Also, this means that photos taken by Mir Imaging cannot be used for advertising purposes for any other business besides Mir Imaging unless discussed by both parties. (Copyright Infringement is very real & legal!)
Posting this today requires me to take some accountability to ensure that I stick to my word and actually post on this page moving forward! I have had a very busy year so far, and 2025 was one of the busiest years Iāve had yet with barely posting on this page.
