🖤 In the Heart of Appalachia 🖤

In the hush of black and white, there’s a timeless scene: an Appalachian girl sitting in her Nana’s backyard, barefoot on an old wooden bridge, her hat , borrowed from Nana’s few treasures her Mama left her, strumming her favorite guitar, which is a life lesson she learned right here along this same creek that her great Granny washed Ball jars along the laurels. Her feet touch the ice-cold waters of Rock Creek, capturing a moment as raw and resilient as the mountains themselves.

What a delight to kick off this spooky day! My first session was with the cutest bulldog named Monkey, and let me tell you, this little lady was dressed to impress in her Halloween finest! 🐾❤️ Watching her strike a pose had me grinning from ear to ear. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love capturing family memories so much.
