So not going to lie...this picture gave me all the feels...

You see, I was invited to a girl's sleepover camp at Fall Brook Stable to do a surprise photoshoot for the girls, and Bella was there. Bella's mom and I were friends, and to see the genuine smile and joy on her face while I was there tugged at all my heart strings. I told her that my husband works with her Dad, and when I told her his name, she smiled. Later I found out from my husband that when Bella is on the phone with her dad while he is at work, she'll ask who he is with that day, and cheerfully say Hi to them while on the phone.... this reminded me so much of her mom, always had a big smile and a hi when I saw her.

No one should have to endure losing their mom at such a young age. But Bella is fierce, strong, loving and amazing. Her Momma would be proud

Meet Connie!

Connie (along with her daughter Lyndsay) is the owner/operator of A Little Flower Farm at Burlap & Lace Barn, located at 2534 Waldron Road in Camden. Connie has been growing her flower business since 2022. Connie decided to start her flower farm when she came across a floral class and decided to take it. For anyone that has seen Connieā€™s garden and her flower arrangements, you can clearly see she has an eye for it! Connie is a retired bus driver, so she knows about patience and hard work, and decided the flower farm would go perfectly with their already established wedding and event space, Burlap and Lace.

Connie creates the most beautiful flower arrangements that are on sale at her stand, she offers a flower service to those that use the venue, and she also has a flower subscription! You can also find her beautiful arrangements at local farm stands such as Grace Haven Farms. I use all of Connieā€™s arrangements for my Senior sessions that request flowers. She always puts together such unique bouquets that I can always find one that fits the vibe of the session.
What makes a Little Flower Farm so unique is that Connie plants, grows, and picks all her own flowers. We were able to spend some time in her garden and she told me all about the Dahlias! I loved it! She showed me her first generation and her second generation Dahlias, and I did not know you could create your own flowers! Talking to Connie about her farm and her flowers was like talking to an old friend. She is so genuine and kind. Her most popular product is her flower subscription; often hearing that itā€™s someoneā€™s most favorite gift. And I would have to agree, how wonderful would it be to always have beautifully arranged, home grown flowers weekly to keep your space cozy! She loves to be able to get to know her community when they visit the stand and the barn, and it shows.

Connie used ā€˜prettyā€™ as one word to describe her Little Flower Farm and that it is. Everywhere you turn you see beauty, vibrant colors, and dedication. Connie doesnā€™t just grow the most stunning flowers, she helps grow the community. She makes everyone feel welcomed, valued and connected. Thank you for filling our community with so much color, kindness and beauty.

A little behind the businessā€¦ šŸ¾šŸ¤

Iā€™m Hailey! Iā€™m the face behind the business and the one who gets to love on, care for, and spoil all of your pups while theyā€™re here. What started as something I loved has grown into a business that Iā€™m incredibly proud of, and I truly couldnā€™t have done it without all of the amazing families who continue to trust me with their dogs.

My goal has always been to create a true home away from home where every pup feels safe, comfortable, loved, and treated like family.

I truly canā€™t believe summer is already coming to an end. This has been one of my busiest and BEST summers yet, and Iā€™m beyond thankful for every booking, referral, recommendation, every share,and returning client. Your support means more to me than I could ever put into words.

Iā€™m so excited for what the future holds and I absolutely cannot wait to continue growing this business and seeing where this journey takes me. I have so many goals and ideas for the future, and Iā€™m so grateful that I get to build something I genuinely love. šŸ’“

As we head into fall and the holiday season, I am now booking further out! If you already know youā€™ll need boarding for upcoming holidays, vacations, or school breaks, please reach out early to reserve your dates. Holiday spots will fill up VERY quickly, and once Iā€™m full, I unfortunately wonā€™t be able to accommodate any additional reservations.

Meet our new little love, Stormie Maeve!

She was an unexpected but much needed addition to our family! She is 4 months old and can't wait for her cousin to join her in a few days. We have had her a week, and she's settling in just fine! She is obsessed with her daddy and literally waits by the window for him to come back. She loves sticks, treats and playing! She's not a fan of the leash or all the new noises.

Oreo has adapted to her; however, Nala kitty is still hiding (she comes out every once in a while, but not long enough to say she's adjusted!)

Thank you to Anita's Stevens Swan Humane Society for our girl!
