1. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Jake! We’ve been together for almost 9 years and are going into year 5 being married!💍♥️

2. I’m a full-time grad student! I’m wrapping up my first semester of my masters program in higher education! 📚🎓

3. We have two dogs, a German shepherd named Apollo and a heeler named Indi! Apollo was born in South Carolina and we adopted Indi from a prison! We also have 5 chickens- Gladys, Pearl, Betty, Kathy, and Ethel! 🐶🐓

4. I love playing softball! I’ve played sports since I was able to walk, softball (and basketball) still remain a big part of my life! 🥎🏀

5. I love to sew and bake!! Cinnamon rolls and yeast bread are my favorite to bake and name banners are my favorite to sew! 🪡 🍞

Sweet, snuggly boy 🩵🥹

I was so blessed to capture mama’s maternity photos, and now that this sweet honey pie is earth side, I’ve had the honor of capturing his newborn pictures too! In just five short months, I’ll get to see this precious boy again for his half-birthday session!

One of my absolute favorite parts of this job is getting to watch my families grow and being trusted to capture all the sweet milestones along the way 🫶🏻

Briley | BNL Class of 2027 🎓🖤

When Briley messaged me last week and asked if I’d be interested in taking some senior pictures of her with her car, I just couldn’t resist!

I warned her that every senior I’ve photographed with their car up until this point has been a guy, but that didn’t stop her from trusting me to bring her vision to life! And let me tell you, she made my job SO easy. I mean obviously, just LOOK AT HER! 😍

Between her confidence, her gorgeous car, and the vision she had in mind, this session was everything I could’ve hoped for and more! I absolutely LOVE when my seniors bring their own ideas to the table and let their personalities shine through their pictures. 🖤

My copy of Vol. 57 (my second publication) finally came in today, and imagine my surprise when I realized my work wasn’t just featured on one page… but THREE different pages (technically four)! 😭 Luckily, I was filming a day in the life for my photography TikTok, so you get to see my genuine shock when I flipped to that page in the comments!

Seeing an entire two-page spread featuring one of my favorite images of all time genuinely makes my heart so happy. There’s something so surreal about holding a magazine in your hands and seeing your own work printed inside. Second time around, and it’s a feeling I don’t think will ever get old!

And to make it even sweeter, one of the behind-the-scenes photos featured was from one of my absolute FAVORITE senior sessions, with one of my favorite seniors, who just so happens to be my youngest brother-in-law, Luke!

To have moments that mean so much to me personally recognized in this way makes it that much more special. I’m beyond honored, grateful, and still a little in disbelief. Every publication is another reminder of why I love doing what I do, and I owe so much of it to you guys! Every session booked, every person who trusts me to capture their memories, every share, recommendation, and kind word has helped me get here.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making moments like this possible. 🤎

You’d never guess this sweet girl wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with me or my camera during this session! Thankfully, Dad knew just how to get those giggles going, and they ended up being some of the cutest shots in this gallery! 🫶🏻

Parents, this is your reminder that your kiddos, especially toddlers, do NOT need to sit perfectly still, look at the camera, or give me their biggest smile for your session to feel like a success!

Some of my favorite shots come from the moments you can’t pose or plan. The belly laughs, little personalities, and sweet interactions are what make your photos YOURS. Let them run, play, giggle, be shy, make silly faces, and just be kids!

Perfectly posed doesn’t always mean perfectly memorable!
