It rained nearly every day that week. Sunday came and the skies were still gray, and we weren’t quite sure what the evening would bring. But just in time, the clouds cleared and the sun came out.

We wandered around the gardens at Allerton Park & Retreat Center, stopping wherever felt pretty and letting the evening unfold as it did. Kevin and Jennifer, the green gardens after a week of rain, and SUNSHINE. What a sweet evening with these two. ☀️

Ian and Erin tied the knot on a beautiful June day at Ian’s childhood home, surrounded by all of their nearest and dearest. (Including their two perfect pups!!)

These two are not only incredibly kind and thoughtful, but you could truly feel the love and intention behind every little detail of their day. They were so excited to celebrate their love, while also making sure every person around them felt loved, seen, and cared for along the way.

So many more special moments and captures from this sweet day to come. But for now, just a few of the beautiful couple. 🤍

I feel like captions have become the hardest part of my job lately. 😂 Maybe it’s the mom brain. Maybe it’s because I spend all day talking in toddler language. Or maybe it’s because I never know which part of a wedding day to focus on.

One thing I do know is how incredibly thankful I am for the people I get to work with. I truly feel like I have the sweetest, kindest couples, and I don’t take that for granted. I know I say it all the time, but it’s so true.

So instead of trying to sum up Cole & Kacey’s day, here are a few little moments I haven’t stopped thinking about:

• Kacey’s JOY, her laugh and smile were absolutely contagious.
• Cole’s quiet, steady presence and all the little ways he showed his love for her throughout the day.
• Kacey’s dad’s speech that didn’t leave many dry eyes left in the room.🥹
• Those bridesmaids dresses that Kacey handpicked… I’m still obsessing.
• The ladies completely losing it the second “Goodbye Earl” came on.
• The Easley bottle of wine. Perfection.
• The way everyone showed up to celebrate these two with so much love.🤍
