The weather is warming up, the trees are starting to bloom, and another semester is coming to an end. Just like that and it’s time to start thinking about graduation … as crazy as that sounds. It may still be a little over a month away but you can’t graduate without documenting this huge milestone in your life.

Graduation is right around the corner, which means it’s time to start thinking about all things Graduation. An exciting time for everyone but also brings a list of to do’s to get checked off.

Happy Valentines Day to all my past, present, and future clients 💌

A day all about love and appreciating your special someone. While this day is specifically for celebrating love, remember to celebrate the love between friends, family, and even ourselves.

As a photographer, it can sometimes be a challenge making sure you are capturing everyone’s story uniquely to them. I think that that’s why I enjoy it so much. Finding out how to capture two strong bonds and creating a story, their story, with just a few images. It’s a form of art that I love to create.

These two have a story just like everyone else does. They share a special bond and I hope these images display just how happy they are to love each other. They trusted me to tell their story and I hope one day I can tell yours too!

It feels like just yesterday Austin and I were running cross country together and now he’s a senior looking much taller than I remember!

His mom had mentioned he doesn’t show his genuine smile in photos much. I wanted to make sure I was able to capture just that and I think we nailed it.

Genuine smiles is one of my favorite things to capture and what I strive so hard to get each session. That moment that isn’t posed but so effortlessly perfect. Those are the images that are the golden ones. The ones that want to make you smile too!

I also want to add that these photos must prove just how funny I am ;)

Yet another stunning senior I had the privilege of capturing.

This session with Lily kept giving me major flashbacks to her older sisters senior session back in 2020. Those two could be twins, it’s insane. It made me realize just how fast though time flies. It seemed like just yesterday Olivia + I were seniors and now here we are in the middle of our Junior year of college.

It’s so important to be able to freeze time to hold onto those significant life memories that seem to go by too quickly. It’s one of my favorite things about photography, being able to stop life for just a second and give people a memory they can hold onto forever.

So, the next time you’re thinking about skipping out on updating photos, remind yourself that you can never have too many photos of any certain milestone in life.

This day could not have been more perfect. The weather was in our favor and the day could not have gone more smoothly. Love was certainly in the air.

As always it was such an honor being able to capture this special day for these two wonderful soulmates. I cannot wait to see their love grow deeper and deeper for each other. What a fun day with an even funner wedding party.

Love.

The word love is so powerful. It’s a mix of emotions, beliefs, and behaviors that are then associated with the feeling of warmth and protectiveness for another person. Everyone can love someone a different way. There are so many different meanings behind it. Love is complex.

I love how complex and beautiful love is and I LOVE capturing two people share that love for one another. It is always my goal to be able to capture two people’s relationship to a T. I want to capture that special bond that nobody else has but the two of you. Freezing time so that you can always remember the smiles and connection the two of you have.

I’ve been so quiet on here and haven’t posted many new photos.

I’ve decided to post past sessions I’ve done over the last 6 months to update my page. Also to let you all know that I do still take photos and still want your business.

While being in college I’ve had to slow photography down just a little in order to focus on academics. I still find time to do what I love and I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from prior sessions.

These were done last summer for a 2022 senior and she couldn’t have looked more stunning. It was a beautiful evening to capture this gorgeous girl. Lauren thank you for allowing me to capture you as you end a chapter in your life and begin a new one.

I just recently fell in love with backyard weddings…

It was seriously the most beautiful evening for a wedding. It was small and intimate with the most beautiful bride … and handsome groom as well. I was so excited when they asked me to do their wedding for I have never done a backyard wedding and am still new to wedding photography. They made my job so so easy and was honored to be apart of their special evening.

I wish these two nothing but love and happiness in the future.

Side note: People, backyard weddings can be just as gorgeous as a big wedding. Save some money and make your life easier when planning your wedding!!
