I never shared this project from the summer, but I gave video a whirl for a couple of my favorite co-creators. It was a day of play and channeling the inner child, frolicking, building, and exploration. ☀️

I’ve always loved capturing the stillness. Its own facet of love—the peace that lingers between the knowing of one another. It’s a feeling rather than a moment, subdued and familiar.

This is your sign to get married in the mountains and take me with you. 😉 Just a few of my favorites from the last two years, swipe to the end to my very real, very candid reaction to finally seeing mountain goats. 🏔️

It’s been a while! Hi, I’m Clare (but you probably knew that much). This is me, as photographed by my husband. 👋

I’m 27 but sometimes have to really think to remember for sure. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 3 years (as of tomorrow, actually). We had 17 people at our wedding and got married in one of my very favorite places on earth—my childhood home. I’m an only child. I don’t know for sure what I want my future to look like, but I daydream a lot. I love stories—especially when they transport you to another world. Books, movies, tv series…they all suck me in. Oh! And I love a good soundtrack. If your sound is on, you’re listening to one of my favorites.

I have a degree in psychology. I actually think that background is part of why I’ve loved photographing people. So much lies in the connection of it, in showing up on wedding days and listening to the stories, seeing the connections, trying to become what they need.

Intimate weddings are where I shine. Days born out of intention, and curated to focus on your story, connection, and commitment to one another and the people closest to you. Your wedding isn’t a performance. It’s your special day, and it’s really happening, so my goal is to help you soak it in.

The evolution of a family. From two to four over the years I’ve documented. Photography is so often the art of time (and stopping it), hoping to deliver moments that can be felt long after its era has passed. ✨

A photo from late 2021 that caught my eye today, then a sweet photo from when she was a newborn, and finally from a few weeks ago when I photographed her first birthday, such a sweet thing to be along for the ride 🤍

I got married to my longtime sweetheart on a warm Monday last September. It went so quickly, held so much emotion, and created memories I will cherish forever. Getting married myself, gave weddings days a new perspective, one I hope to carry into my photography.

I’ve been taking business pretty slow since then and will continue to do so for the time being, so I can soak up time with my husband and get time in with family, while I am also working at my other job. I have limited the amount of sessions and weddings I’m taking this year, but don’t be afraid to reach out, just know that response times may be a little slower than they used to be.

Of course, I have to share our wonderful vendors, because I know the effort and thoughtfulness they put in to their work. Our photographer  was someone we felt so comfortable with and she flitted around unnoticeably to document our day beautifully. Dani  created the prettiest and best smelling bouquet I’ve EVER seen— full of garden roses and texture and even the random flowering weeds I sent her photos of. We also had a very tasty cake from  and even though I don’t have a photo of it in here, she also created a masterpiece in both aesthetics and flavor. And last but not least, Maria of  for our lovely rings ❤️
