I know it sounds a little unconventional... but breakfast might just be my favorite place to photograph a family.
Not because the pancakes are cute or the restaurant has great light.
It’s because this is where real life happens.
Sticky fingers reaching for syrup. Tiny feet swinging from the booth. Stacking the containers of jelly. Your toddler climbing into your lap before the food even arrives.
I love photographing families in places that give them something to do. When you’re simply enjoying each other, the photos stop feeling posed and start feeling like memories.
