I want to introduce myself to you all so you can get a glimpse into why I do what I do. First and foremost, I'm a Mama to an amazing almost 4 year old little boy, Grayson. He is the sole reason that I started this business and the Gray behind Gray Moon Photography. He's got the best blue eyes I've ever seen, and brings me more joy than anything I've ever experienced. art horse Moon who I sadly lost almost 5 years ago now. Moon was my shoulder to lean on, my confidant, my very best friend. He is the reason I love horses and the reason behind us living on our 20 acre horse farm. I also have a wonderul Husband Matt, who you'll most likely see building me tons of props for all our wild session ideas! He's also likely to be seen holding a snow machine behind me or a donkey too, ( Yes, our sweet Maisey is in a ton of our sessions too.) Besides those 3 core factors of my life, I am surrounded by wonderful friends, an incredibly supportive Family, lots of 4 legged animals, and millions of ideas I cannot wait to create with you. You can most likely find me with a computer in my lap, photo editing software open, a glass of wine on the table, a toddler with his arms tightly wrapped around my neck while hanging off my back ( yes, it IS as wonderful as it sounds ha!), crying over Grey's Anatomy and crying over how much I love the images I've captured of YOU. I really cannot wait to capture beautiful memories for you that will last many lifetimes to come.

Your maternity photos were never meant to be ordinary.
Bring me your wild ideas, your dramatic dresses, your nontraditional vision, your “this might sound crazy but…” concepts. Those are the sessions that turn into art.

I don’t want your maternity session to feel like everyone else’s. I want it to feel like you. Bold. Emotional. Different. A little untamed- this is what fuels me and I love creating new concepts! Don’t feel like any idea is to out of the box- I’m here for it!

In November two years ago- I was rescheduling over 159 sessions so I could make it out to Utah to watch my cousin marry the best girl in the world & This weekend we kayaked the river where we will be hosting her memorial kayak trip. This trip will help sustain a Scholarship at Roxbury High School in honor of Emily. Any donation or involvement directly supports it.

Emily’s sister Jessi showed me the prayer cards she made when we were setting up her celebration of life and they really stuck with me with just how awesome she really was and how much joy she brought to our lives.

So I’m going to write off memory a couple things that her sister had written on them & share them with you, so you too can live like Emily. - Go Kayaking.
- Wallpaper something in your home
- Catch frogs
- Go garbage picking (you’ll find the best stuff on the side of the road)
- Travel
- Go to a concert
- Plant flowers
- Pick pumpkins and make sure you can stack them perfectly.
- Laugh & love with friends.
And though the ache never leaves, I feel them in the quiet reminders—the warmth of the sun, the joy in a shared laugh, the push to live boldly and love without hesitation. That’s their gift to us: to never let life pass us by, to find beauty in the smallest things, and to pour our hearts into the people we love.
So I’ll keep living the way Emily showed us how—fiercely, joyfully, and with more love than I think I have to give.

There are photos you take… and then there are the ones you end up holding onto forever.

The ones where your kids still reach for your hand without thinking.
Where your parents are right there beside you.
Where your dog sneaks into the frame and somehow it makes it even better.
The ones that feel like your life, exactly as it is right now.

I’m opening a limited number of sessions from June through October, and these are my favorite months to shoot. The light is softer, the evenings slow down, and golden hour feels like something you can actually step into.

We can keep it simple and real, or build something a little more styled and unique. My farm, horses, glasshouse, vintage pieces, open fields, or somewhere that means something to you. I’ll help you with outfits, colors, and pulling everything together so it doesn’t feel overwhelming.

Bring your kids, your parents, your dogs. The chaos is welcome. That’s usually where the magic is anyway.

Sunset sessions are limited and always go first, especially heading into fall.

I’m also offering 10% off for first responders and nurses as a small thank you for what you do.

John and Ann are both in heaven now, but their love is still here. You can feel it in the way people speak their names, in the quiet ache of missing them, in the way their story lingers long after they’re gone.

They loved each other in a way most people only dream about. Fully. Deeply. Without holding back.

And it makes you wonder… what if they didn’t take that chance? What if they played it safe, stayed guarded, chose comfort over connection? They would have missed a lifetime of laughter, of growing old together, of knowing what it feels like to be truly seen and chosen.

A love like theirs doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because two people decide to risk everything for it.

That is why this matters so much.
Love loudly. Show up fully. Take the photo. Take the video. Hold onto the moment a little longer.

Because one day, those ordinary seconds become everything.
They become the proof that you were here, that you loved, that you didn’t hold back.

And that kind of love… is the closest thing to forever we get.
