Photo on the left is before a final retouch in Photoshop. My usual post-process is to do most of my large stroke edits in Lightroom, then pull individual images into Photoshop to "retouch" the final details. The day of this session, it was really windy, so I work my magic and p**f - no more wind! A lot of times, I really like the evidence of nature and the mood it creates, but sometimes a little hair blowing in the wrong direction can be distracting. These were senior portraits so I wanted to make sure they were a bit more polished.

I had the honor of photographing the 2024 St Charles Borromeo Bash fundraiser hosted at the historic Hollywood Theater in NE Minneapolis. I got to play the "paparazzi" and worked the red carpet as guests entered for the evening. What a fantastic event and memorable venue!

Meet my youngest daughter Heidi 👋🏻

This was taken just before bedtime tonight with my new Canon R6. I was able to sync up to my phone with Bluetooth and pull this photo into Lightroom. This is minimal editing, just basic color correction and a few tiny touch ups around her mouth because she had been eating crackers. When I tell you I’m excited about this camera, this is the proof! I mean…look at those eyes!👀
