Part two of the Editorial Vintage Bridal ✨

There was so much intention behind this second segment of the shoot.

The way the light slowly filled the room… the movement… the energy. Even the music playing in the background,the Wuthering Heights soundtrack, set the tone for everything. It felt less like a photoshoot and more like stepping into a scene.

Moments like this remind me why I love creating the way I do. Not rushing. Not forcing. Just letting the light, the music, and the feeling guide the story.

This is the magic of slowing down and allowing art to unfold naturally.

Oh you wanna hear something crazy?

I’m having the time of my life during this off season.

And you wanna know why?

Because I’m finally doing the things that used to scare me.

When I first picked up a camera, I was just a girl in the corner of her old bedroom dreaming BIG. I didn’t care about the “rules.” I was self-taught, stubborn, wild. No boundaries. No permission. Just vision.

And then somewhere along the way…I felt the shift.

Year three of shooting weddings full-time. Second shooting. Investing in education. Consuming everything I could. And while learning is beautiful…I slowly started losing myself. I compared. I adjusted. I followed formulas. I played it safe. I started creating work that felt “right” instead of work that felt like me.

I stopped having fun.

After two planned content days this year, it hit me hard. I had been holding back. Watering myself down. Editing my instincts before I even tried.

But 2026?

It’s different.

This is the year I stop asking myself if it makes sense.
The year I stop shrinking my ideas.
The year I test the limits of my own creativity.

No more holding back.
No more safe.
Just art. Just vision. Just freedom.

And honestly? I’ve never felt more alive.

Six years ago, this was just a vision.

A vintage, editorial bridal getting ready moment I couldn’t shake and finally bringing it to life felt surreal.

But you know what made it even better?

We had SO much fun.

Just music playing, laughter filling the room and a bride fully in her moment.

Because that’s what it’s really about.

Yes, I love the editorial frames. Yes, I’m obsessed with the vintage elegance. But more than anything, I want my brides to feel something when they look back at their photos. I want you present. Breathing it in. Smiling without being told to. Dancing in your pjs before the day officially begins.

This shoot was a dream six years in the making but it was also a reminder that the magic happens when you let go and just enjoy it.

To my future brides:
Be in the moment. Laugh loud. Soak it in. The photos will follow.

Cocktail hour.

It’s where everything slows just enough to breathe. The laughter gets softer, the details start to shine, and the story lives in the in-between.

The clink of glasses.
Hands reaching for another pour.
Florals resting effortlessly against stone.
Little moments unfolding without anyone trying too hard.

And at The Rodin Museum? Come on. It’s such a vibe. The gardens, the art, the history woven into every corner, how could you not want this photographed?

These are the details you don’t even realize you’ll miss until you’re looking back. The texture of the day. The feeling. The quiet elegance that lives between the big moments. Cocktail hour is where it all feels real, unposed, and beautifully undone.

Your wedding isn’t just about what’s happening, it’s about how it felt. And these little moments? They matter just as much.

There are months that feel like a gentle exhale and this one feels like a deep breath in.
So many beautiful sessions ahead, beginning in Princeton with an intimate elopement.

After stepping away for a while, returning to photography feels like coming back to myself.
The joy. The movement. The reminder of why I fell in love with this work in the first place.

I’m so grateful to be back in this season, and so excited for every 2026 couple trusting me with their story.
