Did you know we encourage our clients to book sitter sessions instead of your typical 6 month session? The idea is to capture the milestone, not just the age. For some babies that can be around the 6 month mark or closer to 8 months. They only need to be sitting unassisted for a few seconds!

Sometimes during a session I will glance at the back of my camera and think “man, I wish I had a shot like this of my girls when they were babies.” And then I get excited thinking about how much mom is going to cherish her newborn photos. What makes milestone sessions so special? After your newborn session, a sitter session is the first milestone you’ll want to document. Your baby’s personality has started to shine through! They may be a little wobbly at sitting unassisted, but what’s not to love about this age?
