🦕 RAWR means "I'm FOUR!" 💜🎉

Some little personalities are impossible to miss... and Allie Kay is definitely one of them! From her dinosaur balloons and big smiles to her silly wink and sweet giggles, she made turning DinoFOUR look absolutely adorable.

Four years old is such a fun age—full of imagination, confidence, and just the right amount of sass. (And I think these photos captured every bit of it! 🦖💗)

I hope you have an amazing 4th Birthday, sweet girl! May your year be filled with big adventures, tiny dinosaur roars, endless laughter, and all the magic that comes with being FOUR.

Another summer... captured. 🌻💛

One more evening of sunflower minis, and that's a wrap on this year's sessions.

Thank you to every family who braved the South Georgia heat, dodged the gnats, trusted me with your memories, and laughed through the "just one more!" moments. Every year these sessions become a little sweeter as I get to watch your families grow.

Now it's time to trade the sunflower fields for my editing chair (and probably a gallon of sweet tea ☀️😂).

I can't wait to share all of this year's beautiful moments with you. Until next summer, sunflowers. 🌻✨

Yesterday was all ruffles, bows, and twirls. 💛🌻

Tonight? It was all dirt, boys, and adventure.

Somehow we managed to dodge the rain, the gnats found somewhere else to be, and one very enthusiastic four-legged friend even joined the fun. 🐶

The beauty of sunflower minis is that no two sessions are ever the same. One evening is full of sweet little princesses, the next is full of muddy shoes, big grins, puppy kisses, and little boys who would much rather explore than sit still—and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

These are the moments that feel like childhood. 🌻💙

Golden hour. 🌻✨

The gnats were relentless. The South Georgia heat had us all glistening. Tiny feet wandered, dresses caught the breeze, and there may have been a few snack and wiggle breaks along the way...

But somehow, all of that disappears when the sun settles low over a field of sunflowers.

Just sweet little girls, genuine smiles, and the kind of summer evenings you'll want to remember long after the blooms are gone. These are the moments that make every swat at a gnat and every drop of sweat completely worth it.

Thank you to these precious families for trusting me to capture a little piece of their summer. I don't think we could have asked for a prettier backdrop. 💛🌻

🌻 Sunflower Minis are one of my favorite summer traditions. 🌻

Every year we brave the South Georgia heat, dodge the endless gnats, and hope the sun decides to cooperate for just a little while. 🤪☀️

And every single year... it's worth it.

Watching families come back, seeing little ones who've grown another year, and capturing those sweet smiles among the sunflowers reminds me why these sessions have become a tradition. The conditions may not get any easier, but the memories somehow get sweeter.

Sandy toes and a sandy nose. 🐾🏖️

This morning I took our newest little adventure buddy to the beach for the very first time.

He inspected every flower, left the tiniest paw prints in the sand, chased (or ran away from) the incoming waves with all four little legs, and somehow managed to wear half the beach on his face. I’d call that a successful first trip. 🤍

Sometimes the best memories aren’t the big adventures—they’re the tiny firsts. Watching Loki experience the ocean for the first time was so much fun.

I have a feeling this little beach bum is going to fit right into our family. 🌊💙🐶

There is something about beach sessions that makes kids forget they’re “taking pictures.”

They want to race down the shoreline, dig in the sand, jump over the waves, and see who can make Mom laugh first. And honestly… I encourage every bit of it.

Parents often apologize because it feels chaotic. But from behind my camera, that’s usually when the magic happens. The biggest smiles aren’t posed—they’re earned in the middle of the fun.

So if you’re worried your little ones “won’t cooperate,” don’t be. Come ready to play, let go of perfect, and let kids be kids.

Those are the moments you’ll want to remember forever. 🤍🌊📸
