Our camping spots are about full, and all we need is food vendors wishing to make a lot of money.

As you all know, we are expecting over a million tourists in our state to view the Solar Eclipse, and Black Rock, AR is smack dab, right in the heart of all of the action…

We will also feature live entertainment with Micro Wrestling, Lauren Gray in concert, Go Cart Racing, Craft Fair, and much, much more!

The Black Rock Entertainment Committee is honored to host the One and Only Ozark Queen and American Idol contestant Lauren Gray for ONE NIGHT ONLY - live in concert for the 2024 Eclipse.

I will be posting the QR Code to order her shirt as soon as the image and her logo is complete and approved by her people so stay tuned for that. Once QR is created, you will be able to order online and have the shirt shipped right to you!

Until then, I hope you enjoy some of her songs until she arrives to Rock - Black Rock.

I bet everyone holds their breath when the see a plume of black smoke rising up in the air from an area you know is around your town. I bet (like me) you fret with terms of what in the world. I bet you then (or I do) say a quick prayer hoping nobody is hurt if it is really is as bad as it looks.
Driving home yesterday evening, and as I got to Walnut Ridge I noticed a huge plume of smoke coming from the hometown of where I live, Black Rock. I fretted and had even a bit of fright until I saw where this smoke and fire was coming from. And then to see the Mayor was out and maintaining the fire, I felt so relieved and thankful.
Keep up the great work Mayor Zac, we are starting to see some good progress in our town and I say let's throw a block party and have the whole town help, it's looking great and it feels great to live here!
Side note: the building that you see in the beginning of this video is also Mayor Zac. He is doing a rebuild of this building to get it in operation.

Beauty and growth is all around us here in our beautiful city of Black Rock, Arkansas.

Who else has beautiful images they would like to share of our beautiful city? We would love to see them.

While out and about on my photograph journey, I was able to capture visitors here.
Wonder what the mystery is? You know it has to be huge, when these players show up to town!

Found in another state, in another city and this book is definitely from another time. So, of course I had to purchase!
Are there one of these for every year, if so, how can I purchase these books of times gone past?

I recognized several names in this book. And, the stories are so endearing! I can't get enough of reading about folks and the meals they created right here in our town.

One thing that sticks out, my maiden name is listed in this book and now, I have to do some research to see if this is from my line of Haley's.

Great job on this 2004 cook book and the history you preserved in this cookbook!
I can't wait to cook some of these recipes!

If anyone has any other years, please let me know. I'm interested in purchasing from you if you would like to sell.

What do y'all think?

How many of us can shoot photos of our downtown Main Street and submit an application and then upload the photos you took to .

In my opinion, I think the more of us who can do this, the better our chances of possibly winning, wouldn't you think? Let's make this a community project and get involved and at least try. I mean, what's the harm in trying, right? It will only take a little of your time and you could help make a difference in our town with your little bit of your vested time. And besides the photos you actually take will go down in our town history of what looked like in 2020, so please help make a memory last forever by shooting photos and I cludes family and friends if you want.
