📸 A little Re-Introduction… if we haven’t met yet—or if it’s been a while—let me reintroduce myself! 👋🏻 And there’s a question at the end….please answer it for me 😉
I’m Karen, the photographer behind Ooh La La Photography, and I thought it was time to share a little bit about the girl behind the camera. ❤️
I graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2002 with a degree in Graphic Design. I always loved creating, but it wasn’t until I started taking pictures of my own babies when they were little that photography really stole my heart.
Then I started taking pictures for friends… and then friends of friends… and before I knew it, Ooh La La Photography was born! ✨ I officially started Ooh La La in 2009, and somehow, all these years later, I’m still doing what I absolutely love.
Today, I’m a blessed mom of 3 kids and 3 bonus kids, and I recently earned a brand-new title: FUR GRANDMA! 🐾❤️ (And yes, I’m completely obsessed.)
When I’m not behind my camera, you’ll probably find me doing something crafty. I LOVE all things crafts, creating, drawing, and making things with my hands. Basically, if it involves creativity, I’m probably interested! 😂
I also have the incredible privilege of teaching photography in Owasso, where I get to pour into some pretty amazing kids and watch them discover their own creativity through photography. 📸
After all these years, one thing hasn’t changed: I still LOVE capturing people, connections, and the little moments that become the memories we treasure forever.
So if you’re new around here, HI! 👋🏻 I’m so glad you’re here. And if you’ve trusted me to photograph your family over the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve allowed me to be a tiny part of so many special seasons of your lives, and I’m incredibly grateful. 🥹❤️
