I’ve just finished my last session for 2025, and I want to give a big thank you to all of my amazing clients for another wonderful year! This marks the 16th year of my photography business. Each year continues to teach me new things, helping me grow and stretch in ways that aren’t always comfortable—but always worthwhile.

I’ll admit, I’ve had a couple of sessions recently that didn’t go quite as I’d hoped, and that can be discouraging. On top of that, I lost one of my beloved cameras this year and had to adjust to a brand-new one. Moments like these sometimes make me wonder if I should keep doing this.

And then, something reminds me why I do. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing one of my favorite little families with their brand-new baby boy. The peace in their home during that session was tangible, and I hope and pray it shines through in their photos.

P.S. You may notice a new watermark on my upcoming posts. I’m adding this, along with other safeguards, to help protect my photos from being copied online. As always, I obtain permission from every family before sharing their images.

Haley put me back in my happy place of photographing beautiful girls (isn't she a bombshell?) at sunset in a field of flowers! Her session was one of my favorites of this year's seniors. Note: If anyone knows who owns the beautiful barn in these photos, could you private message me? We happened past it on the way to somewhere else and I could not resist snapping a few in front of it.
