An important message to my team.

Well guys… we did it. ❤️📸

Another season is officially in the books, and I don’t even really know how to put into words what I’m feeling right now.

This summer was a lot. Long days, heat, exhaustion, stress, chaos, miles on the road, days where we were running our butts off and other days where we wondered where the heck everybody was 😂. We had highs, lows, wins, frustrations, laughs, probably a few tears, and plenty of moments where we wondered what in the world we had gotten ourselves into.

But through every bit of it, we showed up.

And I need every single one of you to know how truly grateful I am for that.

Every one of you has your own niche. Your own personality. Your own strengths. You each bring something to Memory Makers that nobody else can bring. And when all of those different pieces come together, we make some pretty amazing things happen.

This team is special.

We didn’t just take pictures this summer. We made people laugh. We watched families come back year after year. We watched kids grow up. We helped people step out of their comfort zones. We captured moments that are going to be hanging on somebody’s wall long after they’ve forgotten what they spent at the fair that day.

We made memories.

And somewhere along the way, we made a whole lot of our own too.

I know I’m a hardass. I know I push. I know sometimes I expect a lot out of you guys. But it’s because I know what we are capable of, and you guys proved it over and over again this season.

The sales, the goals, the ribbon and all of that are amazing. I’m proud as hell of every accomplishment. But at the end of the day, the people standing beside me are what I’m going to remember most.

Thank you for believing in this crazy little dream of mine. Thank you for showing up when you were tired. Thank you for picking each other up. Thank you for dealing with me 😂. Thank you for giving a piece of yourselves to our customers and to this business.

Most of all, thank you for being my team.

There will never be another summer exactly like this one. Never this exact group of people, at this exact point in our lives, making these exact memories together. And as exhausted as I am, that realization makes ending another season a little bittersweet.

I hope when you look back on this summer you’re proud of yourselves, because I sure as hell am.

We came. We worked our butts off. We laughed. We probably drove each other crazy a few times 😂. We made some money, made some mistakes, made some incredible memories and left our mark everywhere we went.

We might not have been there for a long time, but we were definitely there for a GOOD TIME. ❤️

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I love and appreciate every single one of you more than you know.
