Hey there - I’m Lindsay! 🤍
Mom to two little boys, and the photographer behind Lindsay Gowland Photography.

As a mom, my heart was drawn to preserving the season of childhood, those “little” years, that pass before we even realize it’s ending. That’s why my work is simple, timeless, and meant to become keepsakes for each family.

My sessions happen in natural light, often right on my back porch, where kids can just be kids and moms don’t have to worry about perfection.

I’m so glad you’re here! I would love to capture every little detail you want to remember long after they are grown!

When I look at where this business is today, all I can see is God’s kindness. He opened the doors, brought the sweetest families my way, and gave me a way to do work that fills my heart while still being present for the little moments with my family that matter most. I’m so thankful for each of you who trusts me with your memories. Thank you for being such a blessing in my life!🤍

Every fall I think, “maybe this year will be calmer.” And every fall proves me wrong! 😅 But tucked between the chaos are little glimpses of magic. I’m reminding myself that the magic isn’t found when everything’s done…it’s right here, in the middle of it all. 🤍

POV: I survived August. 🫠 Between back-to-school chaos, sending my youngest off to kindergarten (cue the tears), celebrating a birthday boy, an anniversary, and already catching the first round of seasonal sickness, it’s been…a month.

I’ve been busy behind the scenes photographing so many sweet faces, but social media? She’s been on vacation. So here’s your proof of life 👋 and a promise to start sharing all the beautiful sessions I’ve been working on!

I dropped my “baby” off at Kindergarten today 🥹 and nothing makes you realize just how fast time flies and how fleeting these little years are like taking them to elementary school for the first time. In light of trying to hold onto every moment and memory of our children, I decided to give away one of my personal most treasured items - a silver keepsake ornament!

This giveaway is open to all of my wonderful clients, both past, present, and future! The winner must use portraits captured by me and redeem by the end of this year!
