Do you ever just feel like you can't find your voice? You just can't find any of the words you want to say.

Lately I have been in a funk. One of those funks in which you can go about the everyday tasks of your day and not notice that something is just... off. But you know it is.

I'm going to be honest it feels weird to post pretty photos... which is why I haven't done it. Instead of retreating while learning I'm going to do my best to learn AND take action. A small way I can do that is speaking out on this platform.

Love magnifies our challenges and shines light on what lives in the shadows. Let us not waste the opportunity to drag out what lives in our own shadows. I'm starting with me.

It is June 25. Breonna Taylor was murdered on March 13 in her home by Louisville Police. No arrests have been made.

Coming out of quarantine for Michael and Megan's intimate ceremony reminded me the magic of what I do as a photographer.

Years down the line, I imagine these two,old and grey, holding hands as they look back at these photos with their grandkids. This is why photography exists.
