My favorite part of discovering a small business is reading the about page on their website. How did they get started doing what they’re doing? And more importantly, why?
Over the past couple of months, I’ve had the chance to work with Tara and the team at Pressed Flowers | Sustainable Bouquet Preservation to capture their why. Over about a day and a half of shooting, we captured some of the process of taking fresh bouquets from some of the most important days in peoples’ lives, and pressing them into artwork that will last a lifetime.
I hope you enjoy learning about Flowers of the Press as much as I have! This teaser will have to suffice for now, but the full short fill will be available to view soon.

Sometimes, it isn’t the big interviews or exciting scenes that that make the most impact. It’s the quiet interstitial moments that stick with you. Belle Mina is a beautiful town with a wonderful community, and I am grateful that I was invited in and welcomed to capture even a small piece of it.
