✨135mm Milky Way Mosaic ✨

I’ve been working on this project for a while and it’s definitely the most challenging post processing I’ve encountered. Controlling the gradients is a beast. Hope to reshoot this whole thing before summer is over and try again and with Ha data.

Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex and friends. Rho is one of my favorite objects in the Milky Way. At 400 light years away it is one of the closest star forming regions. Trying some new thing at different focal lengths.

Processed in pixinsight and finished in Lightroom

Milk Way from the local spot here in Alabama. Great night with .w.adamsphoto here with good conditions and a lot of green airglow.

14 panel mosaic shot at 50mm. The reflections and foreground are a single exposure with 20mm lens.
