21 Days of Prayer starts TODAY! So excited to see how the Lord moves in these next few weeks of prayer and fasting. We have morning prayer Monday-Friday 6am, Saturdays 9am, and Sundays will be regular service times. You can go to 21days.churchofthehighlands.com to see the location for prayer at a campus near you or you can join us online too through the website or Highlands app. I hope to see you all there. 2018 was one of the best years of my life and God made my dreams become reality. I began working with the CREATIVE team as a video producer and I still can’t believe I get to wake up every day and create to impact the kingdom. Growing up I drove my mum crazy financially supporting me jumping from one creative hobby to the next. Little did we know the Lord was preparing me all along for a position where I get to use everything I’ve learned through art, music, sewing, building, design and photography....like wuuuuttttt? God so cool. With all this being said, I want to make THE ANNOUNCEMENT that I will taking a little time off from booking 2019 weddings (if you’re already booked, you are still booked so don’t worry. 😊) I’m not throwing my business to the side, just changing my focus to engagement sessions, family and couple sessions, and lifestyle photography for 2019. I have made this choice so that I can completely dive into my job at Church of the Highlands and obey God through this season by making more time to focus on truly loving people. I hope you all understand! Happy 2019 homies!!

You are enough. Don’t strive to be someone that others expect you to be. Stop trying to meet peoples expectations they have blindly given you. Never compare yourself to the person you think you should be by now, because healthy growth is a process and processes take time. The person you are right now in this moment, through this process, riding the highs and lows, during the battle...who you are will ALWAYS be enough for our God. There will never be a moment in time where you are not enough for Him. You are enough.

What a fun day celebrating these two yesterday! Thank you so very much for allowing me to play a tiny part in it. // Side note: there might have been a dare to take the print out of Jack’s face on a stick and I might have accepted the challenge (last photo) and the groom’s face on a stick might be in my possession....but I would love to mail it back to you lol. My sincerest apologies. 😂 Anyways, congrats you two! @ The University of Alabama

If you know me, you know I’m a “make it happen” type of person, type that literally won’t rest until I’ve made it happen. But God is constantly reminding me the importance of rest, which is something I seriously struggle with. He keeps repeating “I you want to make it happen you need to “make rest happen first” So this that being said, please excuse me while I forget about all of my responsibilities for a night, jump into bed at 7pm and fall asleep listening to records.

Beauty is everything. Beauty is light, like the way it shines through fabric giving your eyes a visual of its warmth. Beauty is vocal, like how one single note in a harmonized melody can shoot chills up your arms. Beauty is union, like how the trees on the side of the interstate never share the exact same color leaves, but have a way of blurring together to make the most perfect shade of green when zooming past. Beauty is simple, like getting caught in the pouring rain as the drops thump the top of your head like an off beat drum then roll slowly down your face. Beauty is playful, like how the pine straw on the ground is just an endless game of Pick Up Stix. Beauty is you, like how God made you perfect in His image, but unique from everyone else on this earth. Beauty is everything, but only because everything is beautiful.

Congrats to the most joyful humans I know! Coin laundry engagement session, willow tree bridal session and a smoke bomb wedding yesterday...these cool cats were down for every crazy idea I threw at them.
