It is always those fleeting unguarded moments in a shoot that I feel are the most exhilarating to capture. I LIVE for those moments! It also helps when the wind picks up at the exact right time and makes it all seem effortless! 😅 That, my friends, is how you make magic.

I am in awe of this little girl. Her name is Talia and she was overflowing with energy, light and sweetness. Just as a regular 3-year old should be. But Talia’s story is special because she’s overcome more in her 3 little years on this earth than most of us adults probably will our entire lives. Talia was born with a congenital heart defect that left her with only half of her heart developed. She’s had three open heart surgeries, and numerous visits and stays at the hospital for other complications, but being around her happy-go-lucky and sassy self you would never know it! Her mama is amazing as well, and no doubt a hand in the beautiful flourishing soul of her daughter.
