Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This was taken today with just my cellphone on a job....
Looks beautiful right??? Well... What you don't see is that this beautiful, peaceful lake... is actually a natural waste water treatment set up that is full of human s**t!!!! Yep... Fun past couple of days sucking up turds and tampons in an undisclosed location in the hills of Alabama....🤣🤣🤣

Walking on water:
These shots were balanced with my camera on my shoe and my screen flipped up to get as low as possible to the water... Any closer and I'd be out a camera lol.

I have never pushed my ISO past 5000 on this camera.... Until yesterday morning... This was taken at 25,000.....
I came out of my hotel and was about to leave when I noticed the moon setting over the lake. I ran back and grabbed my camera before it dipped down behind the tree line. Pretty cool photo to start the day with!

Wake up early. Fill coffee mug. Park at one of my spots. Roll the windows down and the music up. Watch the greatest show on earth and thank God for another day!

Reelfoot Lake:
Why do I like this place so much that I'd choose to spend 10hrs driving out of 2 days off from a job that kicks my ass every week....
This morning, like every morning I have the luxury of waking up there, I woke up and went to the local store to get my coffee. Everyone is friendly as can be. You wave and nod to every person you pass on the road. I pulled into one of my spots and played my music as I drank my coffee and watched the sun come up over the lake... Not a person in sight! Once the sun came up I hit the road and just watched out my window... The morning air mixed with the coffee, mixed with the vast nothingness but nature and fields of hard work surrounding you.... I don't think I've ever talked to God more than I do when I'm there... You appreciate the beauty in the simple day to day things. You appreciate the beauty that nature has to offer if you just stop and look for it. Its just a peaceful place with peaceful people living for the day and all it has to offer. Its like stepping back in time! I wish I was still there!

An hour before leaving Reelfoot Lake.... Sitting on a boat ramp inches from dumping a 5 thousand dollar camera in the water trying to get as low as possible. A boat came to back in... Most people would move out of the way, but I knew the boat would spook the Pelican... So I locked on and waited.... wow!!!
