Abby + Joshua at Torrey Pines 🤎

Still not over this evening. The sky changed colors SO fast. We went from cloudy and moody to the prettiest purple + pink sky in what felt like minutes.

I also took some of these on my Fujifilm X-T50 using a film recipe that gave them the dreamiest, nostalgic look straight out of camera, and I’m OBSESSED. There’s just something about that imperfect, film-like feel that I love so much.

Give me a couple in love, bare feet, windblown hair, the California coast, and a sky doing whatever it wants and I’m happy.

San Diego, I’ll come back anytime. 🤎

The Pattersons 🤎

It feels like just yesterday we were documenting Maggie and George’s engagement and wedding day, and now here we are celebrating baby #2. Watching your families grow is one of my favorite parts of this job.

We spent the evening chasing around their sweet girl on their beautiful property, soaking up these last few weeks as a family of three, and of course ended the session the best way possible…playing in the water hose. Those unplanned little moments always end up being some of my favorites.

Kansas & Christopher’s wedding day at Gore Creek Wedding Venue was such a good one. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and the entire day was filled with so many heartfelt moments.

From the emotional moment they saw each other for the first time as Kansas walked down the aisle, Kansas’s dad’s awesome drag car that made for such a fun photo op, and a reception with some of the best music ever, it was a day to definitely remember!

Thank you both for trusting me to capture such a special day. Congratulations again, and I wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness together! 🤎

A beautiful wedding day for the Mitchells at Creekside Meadows. The skies stayed bright blue for most of the day, and even with the Alabama heat, it couldn’t have been prettier.

Then, just as they were saying “I do,” a summer thunderstorm rolled in. Rain poured down behind them during the ceremony, creating the prettiest backdrop while everyone stayed gathered to witness the moment. It was one of those weddings you just can’t plan for, but somehow it ended up making the day even more memorable.

So many wonderful family and friends, a drool worthy cookie cake I can’t stop thinking about, and an even better couple. Thank you, Mitchells, for letting me be a small part of such an incredible day. 🤍

The Taylor Family 🤎

One thing I’ve really been loving lately is how family sessions have become so much more about the real moments than perfectly posed ones.

Especially with toddlers and babies, I don’t expect them to sit still and smile at the camera the whole time. I usually just let them explore, play, laugh, and be themselves while I run around chasing them with my camera.

Honestly, that’s when the magic happens. Those little giggles, curious looks, tiny hand squeezes, cuddles with mom and dad, and all the in-between moments are what you’ll want to remember years from now.

Kids are meant to be kids, and I’d much rather capture who they truly are than spend the whole session trying to make them do something they don’t want to do. The result is a session that’s more relaxed, more fun, and filled with genuine memories you’ll actually feel every time you look back at your photos.

Alrighty y’all, I originally tried to do these 90s-themed Christmas minis back in 2024, but since they came right after my 60s/70s retro Christmas minis, they just didn’t book out so I had to cancel them. So many of y’all have asked me to bring them back, so I’m giving them another shot this year!
