Introducing
Magic City Echoes
A tribute to both Birmingham, Alabama and the inspiration of Pink Floyd.
Magic City Echoes brings together six iconic Birmingham landmarks, painted across six canvases, with the city skyline serving as the backdrop. Inspired by the spirit of The Division Bell album artwork, Tony May And Storm Thorgerson, this project explores connection, memory, place, and identity through body art and photography.
From left to right: Sloss Furnaces, Carver Theatre, Electra, Vulcan, the Alabama Theatre, and Rotary Trail/Magic City sign—each landmark representing a chapter of Birmingham's story.
Where Pink Floyd reflected on communication and human connection, Magic City Echoes reflects on the echoes of a city that continues to shape those who call it home.
