There is something about birth that I will never, ever get used to. 🤍

The strength. The first breath. The overwhelming emotions. The moment a baby enters this world and everything changes in an instant.

Josiah’s birth was such a beautiful reminder that birth is powerful in every sense of the word. Whether it happens in the quiet moments of a room or in the middle of a C-section, there is nothing ordinary about bringing a baby into this world.

And then, just like that, he’s here. A mama meets her baby, and a big brother gets to see his little brother for the very first time. Two moments, two different kinds of magic, one story that will forever be theirs. 🥹

I will never take for granted the privilege of being invited into these moments. The honor of documenting a family’s story as it unfolds, witnessing the strength of a mother, and preserving the first chapter of a brand-new life is something I will never get used to.

Birth is powerful. Motherhood is powerful. And getting to witness it all through my lens will never stop being an absolute blessing. 🤍
