A few sneak peeks from the intimate wedding I’m working hard to finish editing today. The plan was a backyard ceremony, but the sky had sudden other plans. The sunroom ended up being such a perfect spot. I never would have gotten the sweet through-the-window shots that ended up being some of my favorites had we been outside.

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day mini bookings are live! There are two options available for each holiday: the Sunday before to get digitals back in time to give as presents or the Saturday of to give the session itself as the present.

Located at the beautiful Cahaba River Walk in Irondale, each session is 15 minutes and includes an edited gallery with 3 digital downloads of your choice and the option to purchase more.

Mother’s Day Sessions: Sunday May 4 and Saturday May 10
Father’s Day Sessions: Sunday June 8 and Saturday June 14

Wedding photos for one of my favorite couples. Did you know that in Alabama you don’t need a ceremony or even an officiant to legally wed? But that doesn’t mean you don’t get to take pretty pictures! A couple of days after signing their paperwork, these two met me in the woods to celebrate and capture the depth of their love.

Small elopements and post-courthouse wedding sessions are some of my favorites because they are so full of love and excitement without all of the stress. No months of planning, no seating charts, no strict timelines, just vibes.

I was hoping to have my new website and packages ready by the end of this weekend, but between snow days and kids with arm fractures and everyone being sick all of the time, I am just not ready. Happy Valentine’s Day! Did you know I do weddings? I am admittedly quite selective about which weddings I will take on. I find that small, intimate weddings and couples who want more candid, documentary-style photos to be my best fit. Jamyah and Tre had the exact kind of wedding I love. Their love for each other is palpable but so is the love their family and friends have for them. I am thankful they allowed me to be a part of their big day.
