Getting to photograph people you’ve watched grow up will never get old. 🤍

I’ve known Ansley’s family for years, and I still can’t believe the little girl I taught dance is taking senior pictures. She has always been the sweetest, and I loved every minute of this session.

Now this one really aged me… 😅😅😅

When I was in high-school, I was a teacher’s aide in a first grade classroom. Two of those sweet little first graders just happened to be twins.

Fast forward to now… what a full circle moment that I got to take their senior pictures.

It’s crazy how fast time flies. I got to see a tiny piece of their journey from then to now, and it means so much that I got to be there for this milestone too. I don’t think we stopped laughing the entire session, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. 🤍

On the drive home, I kept thinking about how easy it is to miss what God is doing when you’re living in the middle of it...

On the drive home, I kept thinking about how easy it is to miss what God is doing when you’re living in the middle of it.

Creating content for Skin at Lake Martin reminded me of a season of life that taught me so much. It was where I fell in love with branding, marketing, and creative storytelling, and where I learned that I genuinely love helping people share their vision with the world.

At the time, I was simply walking through the opportunities God had placed in front of me. Looking back now, I can see He was doing so much more. He was shaping my interests, growing my confidence, and preparing me for things I couldn’t yet see.

Getting to step back into that world for a day felt like a sweet reminder of God’s faithfulness through every season.

What once felt like a chapter became part of the foundation.

And honestly, I loved every second of it. 🤍

One of my favorite parts of an engagement session is watching the girls when it finally sinks in.

The way they light up when she talks about him. The immediate hand grab. The “wait, let me see the ring again”. The kind of smile you can’t fake because you’re just genuinely so excited for her. That kind of joy is my favorite thing to capture.

There is something so sweet about friends who celebrate you big in a season like this. Who show up ready to hype you, stand close, and make the moment even sweeter just by being there.

And every single time, it makes me quietly thankful for the friends who love me this way too. 🤍
