Not drone photos but thought I'd share a unique opportunity I had today to catch the Pere Marquette 1225 steam locomotive passing through my town on rails that haven't seen a steam train since 1951!

This is the first opportunity I've had to make a real attempt to photograph lightning with a drone. Conditions were perfect. Sky was clear overhead giving an unobstructed view of the approaching storm for nearly an hour. Calm wind allowed for very stable flight and long exposure times. I picked what I thought were the best of about 140 photos. Conditions may be favorable again tonight!
