Just obsessing over here. This gorgeous Catskills wedding was SO much fun! I got to work with my good buddy DJ Pat and met some new friends at Picarello Productions. The Ponds Restaurant was a first for me but I loved getting to check this place out. Also, huge shout out to the day of coordinator Sunrise Specialty Catering. I am forever full of gratitude when I meet a badass coordinator who keeps everyone and everything on task. It’s not an easy task!

Nina was recently employed over the summer at Gilbertsville Farmhouse so, naturally, she wanted her senior portraits done on the property. Gilbertsville Farmhouse was kind enough to let us and even gave us a golf cart to cruise around in so we could easily get to some of the best spots.

Nina is such a cool chick. Conversation flowed easily and she talked about how she wanted to be an artist once she’s done with school. The animals clearly adored her and we had so much fun getting to know each other.

A big thanks to Luxury Wedding Resort in Upstate NY | Weekend Weddings for letting Nina have her senior portraits done there! I always love getting to see the fam. So much love and gratitude!

Cornell University is basically my second home at this point. I love photographing weddings here. It is the most photogenic place and these alumni wedding couples are always so wonderful to work with.

Their wedding ceremony took place at the A.D. WhiteHouse with the reception at The Moakley House in Ithaca, NY.

At one point we were even lucky enough to have a hot air balloon fly over. Peep for photos. 📸

When you use AI to cull and edit weddings, you’re robbing your clients of those money shots. AI can’t recognize genuine emotion. It can’t differentiate between a grimace and a genuine smile.

When you use AI to edit, it tracks how you edit and then basically creates a preset for each photo. Fine if you don’t edit according to natural light. Still icky, but fine.

I can paint by number but that doesn’t make me an artist. Photography is an art form. Wedding photographers are artists. Is that really going to become controversial with AI.

Anyway. That fella wasn’t very nice.

Guess who’s getting married tomorrow?!? I am so excited to be a part of Billy + Chelsea’s wedding day. 🥹 I adore these two like family. Haha because they are. 🫶 Billy and I were the best of buds when we were in diapers and now here we are years later and I get to document him marrying the love of his life and also the coolest chick. (Big fan over here.)

Ahhhhhh! I am swooninggggggg over Katrina & Alex’s Adirondack wedding! This is just a mini sneak peek. I’ve been brooding all day about which ones to share because, naturally, I want to share them all. Their wedding day blog is coming so soon. I cannot wait to share this wedding day with you. ADK weddings (especially in Inlet, NY where I grew up) are my absolute favorite. I’m so grateful they chose me as their wedding photographer because I enjoyed every second creating for them.
