Kat’s Eye Photography

Kat’s Eye Photography I am saddened to announce that Kat’s Eye Photography is permanently closed.

I don’t have the equipment that I need and I will only be doing photos as a hobbiest and not as a business and I will not be scheduling photo shoots.

They're done! When Alexis first approached me about this idea I was so excited for it. A way for these Moms to feel SEEN and powerful. Lighting was a real challenge and the flash I had wasn't really powerful enough, but we were determined to make it work. I know these pictures have a lot of grain but a dear friend (who is also my staunchest supporter, thank you Carol Jeane) said, "perhaps there is something to the graininess you speak of...grain is grit..and it really kind of fits." I am posting the link to the google album, which has the high resolution photos. They are yours to use however you would like. This was such an incredible honor and I adore these women and admire them all so very much ❤

“The National Trail of Truth memorializes all lives lost to substance use related causes through a community created arts installation of a National Memorial Cemetery.

The Trail of Truth National is the largest national community memorial for all substance use related deaths. Over 3600 loved ones will be memorializes on the National Mall in Washington DC on September 27th, 2025.

Yesterday I had the distinct honor of once again photographing the New York State Trail of Truth in Binghamton NY. As always, I was humbled by the people I met and the stories I heard. Stay tuned! Photos coming very soon.

PS…I adore these two humans and the strength they have and the difference they make when they tell their stories. I have learned much from them. We only have to listen!
